When chipping I find I can get excess spin (the ball stops dead) I prefer hiting a bump and run and no I don't want to use a 7 iron or anything like that.
How can I reduce spin with my sand wedge

My Clubs
Driver - LV4 10* R flex

Why don't you want to use anything other than a SW? Anyways, I roll my hands over if I want the ball to run out more when chipping with my wedges.

Use your hands less and put the ball in the middle of your stance instead of back like everyone says.

Use an old wedge with smooth grooves.

My swing thoughts:

- Negative thinking hurts more than negative swinging.
- I let my swing balance me.
- Full extension back and through to the target. - I swing under not around my body. - My club must not twist in my swing. - Keep a soft left knee

If you swing your chips inside to out (like playing a mini draw) the ball will roll out.

If you hit your chips out to in, you'll put cut spin on it. It will bite and trickle out.

      Great year last year. Who winning this year could be another special story? Brooks? Spieth? Or Aberg? An AM? I dont know if anything could top last year

      I love Rancho Park too!  I don't get out there much due to the 405 issues (Im in Santa Clarita) but I do try and get out there every now and then...last time out was in January where I eagled 17 (left green) with a holed 145 yard third shot ! Rancho is a great course! And at 24 bucks weekday with the city card, an absolute steal!

      I have played PGA West, at least one or two courses in there, but I am not sure if I've played any of the courses used to host the Hope. I played a course that I think both isn't PGA West and is host to the Hope a few years ago, possibly at a TST outing, but I'm not sure if I'm thinking of the right one. I have played Rancho Park plenty of times (exactly half of my sub-80 rounds were there!) and Wilson/Harding.  Rancho Park might be my favorite golf course among those I've played more than a half dozen times.   Hopefully I'll get a chance to play TPC Scottsdale, maybe this August or September, and at some point I think there was a PGA Tour event in Las Vegas, I should get up there and play those course(s).
