I'm thinking about getting a vokey spin milled lob wedge 60 degree.

The oil can looks good and I hear it gives you more spin as it rusts.
Or should I go for the normal silver colour?
What type of bounce would I need?
I want to be able to hit it everywhere.
Fairway, rough and bunkers.

Any suggestions

I would get the chrome 60, If the rust made a difference all the pros would be using them.

I would play the lowest bounce available since you can play it from tight lies without the bounce getting in the way, this will allow you to open up the face as well.

I love my 60 and just for fun try out the 64 degree that Phil plays before you make the purchase with the 60.

yeah I guess your right about the rust thing.

Wouldnt low bounce give problems out of bunkers though? and yeah 64 degrees are fun. My friends has one. I heard you can get 72 degree wedges too.

I play the 60 with low bounce and when I am in the bunker, I open the club face up slightly creating more bounce, but 80 - 90% use will be from lies around the green, you could try the next level up from the lowest bounce and see how chipping feels for you.

I love my 60* Vokey Spin Milled wedge. Use it all the time from 10 yards and in. I think you'll like it if you prefer taking a full swing motion with your pitch shots. The only time I don't use it when I'm 10 or 15 yards out from the pin is when I am on a hard fairway or on a first cut that seems a bit firm - then I'll chip it with a different club. But that's just me. Everyone has their prefered methods for the short game.

What I Play:

4 Wood: G15

Hy: Callaway FT 3Hy

Irons: AP1 4-PW

Wedges: Vokey 52* & 60*, Mizuno MP-T 10 58*

Putter: Newport Studio Select 2.7

Ball: Nike One Vapor

I have a 58 and I wouldn't have anything less than 10 degrees of bounce unless you play on hard pan. Bounce isn't a crutch its a design charactoristic of the club. I oplay on mostly soft courses that are irregated and bounce isn't as much a concern. If you play on a hard dry course then 6 degrees might work better but will be useless out of the sand for most players. I find 10 degrees to be a nice mix in sand, rough or tight fairways. 64 degree wedge is just silly and a waste of time for most amatuers. because Phil has four or five wedges many average joes think they should have them too. Well you're better finding no more than a couple and learn how to use them.

I have a higher bounce, I think it is 8 or 10. I tend to be more of a "sweeper" in striking the ball, so personally I like the higher bounce to help me get under it.

The higher bounce is also why I can't hit it well off the fairway or hard grass, though.
