Touche! I have owned the older raw Vokey's but yet another down side to raw wedges is they wear down faster then chromed wedges. If I could find NOS raw vokey wedges I would be up for it, but used wedges over the net always make me a bit nervous.

im sure you could go to a golfsmith or something and order some.

I tried at golftown (Canadian national chain) and smaller local chain no dice.

For now though I am good as my wedges only have about 60 rounds on them. I use the gap wedge as my go to club for around the green and shots 50 yards in so I always wear them out about 4 times faster then my 56 or 60, so I should grab a back up before the new(old) groves come out.

I've always found that it can be hard to meet uncommunicated expectations.

Id have to agree. nor have i heard anyone complain about having clean clubs when they didn't have to do it on their own. Sounds like someone is just too lazy to do it themselves

The uncommunicated expectation is the best reply. The next time you tip the bag boys take them aside and tell them exactly what you've told us. Laugh about it and tell them that they are doing too good of a job and that you like for your wedges to be rusty. Next time I bet they'll just wipe them off, clean the grooves, and leave the rust alone. Tip them good enough and those bag boys will do just about anything you want.

Hmmm that didn't quite come out right...
