I just bought a Ping iN series Craz-E putter and played 18 with it yesterday. My overall putting didn't get better, but this putter feels much more stable through the stroke, and I sank four putts from outside my usual "automatic" range. I feel much more confident over the ball with this putter- so far. I bought the thing with the thought that I would trade it in if I didn't like it after several rounds (that's why I love buying clubs at Roger Dunn). I hadn't really played a mallet before, thinking that they were too clunky/bulky for me, but I really like this one. The insert has a great feel and sound to boot. Anyone else playing the iN series?

I don't like mallet putters personally, but be sure to spend some time on the practice putting green with any new putter. Don't count on it to be better over the course of a round or two. Spend time practicing with it and give it the old college try. It could be the right putter for you but it could take weeks to find out for sure.
