This reminds me of when I first got PC Golf in high school way back about 14 years ago. The game uses a pad and a shortened golf club/sensor controller. I brought it over to my friend's house so he could check it out. We plugged it into his PC and he proceeded to take the first practice swing when teeing off at Harbor Town Golf Links.

My friend is tall - about 6'3". He brings the club back in his awkardly jerky swing and puts this long black mark across the ceiling in his parent's living room. I dropped to the floor laughing. His dad had just repainted the entire living room and my friend's efforts to clean the mark made it worse. He ended up repainting the entire ceiling and I never brought the game back to his house.
