It´s been like 3 months since the last time I was able to hit with my driver´s (Callaway FT-iQ 10°, stiff) sweet spot.

For some reason I don´t understand, I keep hitting the ball with te HEEL of the club, and of course, that causes all kinds of mishits, increasing my score greatly.

I´ve tried a lot of things, but the only one that kind of worked was aiming about half a foot back from my normal stance, but that´s just wrong!.

Has anyone experienced something similar?. Any recommendations or drills I could try?.

when you do hit it on the sweet spot, do you slice or hook, or hit it straight? I think you might be coming in from the inside, but without a video to see your swing IDK what to say.

Have you had the Driver fitted? It could just be too long for you, which is a common occurance these days. You could try choking down on the club just a tad and see how that goes. You won't lose any distance doing this, in fact you'll probably gain distance if you can hit it more on-centre.
A great shot is when you go for it and pull it off. A smart shot is when you don't have the guts to try it. ~ Phil Mickelson.

It is not the equipment as mentioned above. It is your swing. I too fight heel mishits with my driver from time to time. It stems from a fault in my swing where on the start of my downswing my head/shoulders dip slightly closer to the ball. A bi-product of overswinging for me. Focus on keeping your head steady and maintain your posture. Hit some drives at 50% and I bet your heel hits go away.....

I've hit the ball on the heel on consecutive drives for two main reasons.

1.) Shaft too long - needed to choke down / up (depending on how you say it) 2.) over swinging - arc on the way to the ball was bigger than controlled practice swing
