Does the S9-1F play true to loft, or is it like most other Cobra drivers and launch higher than states loft?

How are the stock shafts? I normally play R flex, but the stock R was very whippy, IMO. I don't have a high SS(90), but have a short, compact backswing and fast tempo. Would I be better with the S flex in stock, or a more tip stiff R flex custom shaft. Any advice is appreciated.

Check out the S9-1 Pro series, stock shaft choice is a much better shaft. Aldila shafts just don't do it for me.

I have no problems w/ my 9.5° S91 F. I have played Cobra drivers my whole life and have never experienced them being not true lofted. They make different shafts and kickpoints for a reason and everyone's swing is different. If you can go somewhere where you can try different shaft options.

Thanks. I generally play 10.5* drivers, but have an opportunity to pick up a 9.5* with an upgraded shaft. I had great results, distance wise, with a 9* Cobra SZ460 years ago. It was so closed, however, that I couldn't get comfortable setting up with it. I tried an F Speed 10.5* with mixed results. I hated the sound of the last couple models. The S9-1F looks nice and is better on sound. We have had so much snow over the last week that I can't get anywhere with a L.M. to check out the launch angle with a 9.5.
