NV vs. NVS

I'm currently playing a HiBore 10.5 with the stock stiff shaft and while I like really like the clubhead, and I'm really straight with it, I also hit the ball sky high. I tested the NV65 in stiff at a demo day and I really liked the feel of the shaft but the ballflight seems to be on the opposite end of the spectrum; a whole lot lower. In reading up on this brand, it appears as if the NVS might be a happy medium between the stock shaft and the NV, is this a somewhat accurate statement?

I don' have specfics on swing speed but I can tell you that I have an average tempo, if anything my take away might be defined as a hair slower than that. I realease my wrists between mid & late and I do not pause at the top although I come close...

Am I even looking at the right shafts to begin with?

I play the NV also in a 65(S). I too noticed the ball flight was a tad lower. Have you considered the ProLaunch BLUE?

I have the OEM NVS on my FT-3 and lve it. I don't get a ballooning ballflight, but it is higher than my previous driver (TM R7 Quad) with the OEM stiff shaft. I also prefer the more mid/high-torque shaft as I have a smoother type swing. I did have an NV65 and to me that was waaaay too stiff and didn't like the feel at all.
