I was wondering if anyone has hit both the R7 Limited and the 09 Burner from Taylormade
If so, which did you like better and why?

I have hit both the 09 Burner and the R7 Superquad from 2007 (pretty close to the r7 limited i guess). I personally like the clubhead shape of the R7 better because it is more traditional looking versus the bullet-shaped clubhead of the burner. I also like the all black superquad clubhead and the adjustible weights.

I hit the 09 Burner TP the other week and LOVED it, but then again the R7 limited is a good driver to, but i think it's for the slighty better player(The stock shaft is very stiff, but very good) . Burner is good anybody though, both fantasic drivers imo.

I switched to the Tour Burner at the very end of the 2008 season and love it. Previously I was using an R7 460, but to be honest I found the weights (it only had two) to be too tempting to try and switch around eveytime my swing got off slightly. I also found that the Tour Burner puts a lot less spin on the ball and gives me another 7-10 yards of roll, while my R7 would often hit and stick.

I tried them both....but admittedly on a monitor, not in 'real life' applications. i too would go for the R7. Personally I went with the Superquad. The Burner was very nice but I just didn't like the look and feel of it. I hit it fine but I just had more confidence with the R7 with the more traditional looks. I really do not think you can go wrong either way though.
