may be in central oregon for a business meeting in a few weeks (don't ask why).

How hard is it to get on one of the Bandon courses as a walk-up? I know some resort courses won't take walk ups even if the course is empty.

I walked up and got onto Bandon Dunes in about an hour or two, but didn't get my first choice, Pacific Dunes, as I would have had to wait for awhile. This was years ago, so don't know if their policies have changed. I think I called up the night before and they told me to walk up, o/w I would have reserved something. Enjoy.

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

Weekday, this time of year, probably not too difficult. I went on MLK Day in Jan, and despite the fact it ended up being a GORGEOUS day, it was not crowded at all.

What's in my bag:
Cleveland Hibore XLS Monster Driver
TourEdge Exotics 2,3,4 hybrid irons
Tommy Armour 845cs Silverbacks 5-PW

    • Day 2 March 13th, 2025 Hit a small bucket checking stuff on video. Mostly back to controlling swing length and right elbow.
    • Video 1 of 2025 Lower body is better. Right knee kicks out less. Left knee straightens better. I don’t have that knee bounce post impact. Backswing and downswing with the arms, needs a bit of work. Nice OTT move there. Video 2 of 2025 - hey I can keep it short.  back to trying to keep the swing shorter and control the right elbow. Lots of half backswing feel and very straight arms. Also trying to start the downswing sooner so the swing doesn’t go on forever with the turn. Got to limit it to 90 degrees shoulder and 45 degrees hips.
    • Day 236: did a stack session.
    • Day 164 - 2025-03-13 Got the new QuadMAX. Didn't get a chance to test it, but got to Golf Evolution about 45 minutes before lessons, so I did some backswing and downswing work in.
    • @klineka has already addressed this stuff, but as I said in my first answer… distance control is typically more important. Knowing exactly how far a ball will carry is huge.
