After lurking in many golf Forums for quite a while I decided to join this one. I live on Martha's Vineyard and started golf about three years ago. I'm 56 yo shoot anywhere form 100 to 112. I have shot 94 but like I told my son it was the first time I didn't lose a ball. When my golfer friends took up golf at a young age I was fishing or playing some other sport. I was a good athlete back then but now when we play golf I'm the rookie . Unfortunately I'm now addicted to golf and love it. I don't take myself too serious and I get a better laugh at myself at some of my shots than anyone else, love it. I hit the ball pretty long and have just started to try different clubs and shafts, which I've found do make a difference. Well off to the forums.
