Looking at buying a G15, but I fight a slice and was thinking of the draw. Any real world thoughts. Help with a moderate slice, is it prone to hook, etc? Hit both at a simulator today with simular results with both. I'm not big on those things anyway. Both clubs do have a great feel. Reviews I've read are great also. Thanks!

I just bought the G10 Draw,I know its not the same club! but I have noticed a immense difference in my Driving, and all for the good!
I just love this driver,I recently bought the Nike SQ Dymo 2 but hated it and sold it on ebay last week for only €10 less than I paid for it,so i went and bought the G10 which was on sale because the G15 is now on the market.
If the G15 Draw is as good as the G10 Draw which I have no doubt its as good and probably better, and like me you fight a slice then I say go for it!

I got my G10 in June... sorta got unlucky finding out the 15 came out in September, but essentially they are very similar clubs. My custom fitter had me recently hit both and there was very little difference in the flight pattern. I would avoid the Draw driver for one reason. you body will change with the club. When i got it i spent most of the season getting used to the new club and re-learned how to hit my driver. I used to hit a mean slice and i can still slice it like crazy if I'm not focusing on my form well enough.

Best recommendation try to relax your right arm more. i bend my right arm slightly having my elbow touch my body and make sure my arms are completely relaxed before i start hitting. If your trying to kill the ball your going to slice it.

Dont get the draw because you slice with your current club. Get the regular and learn to hit it properly.

Personally.... I wouldn't spend all of that money on a draw club. Why not stick with that Burner...which is a very nice setup with that YS6......and put the $250 towards a few lessons to fix the slice?

4-PW MP 57 Irons
CG14 52* Gap Wedge CG12 56* SW CG12 60* Lob Wedge CO3-hI push them around with my Linksmen X-7 cart.

Yeah I agree with some guys lessons would be a good way to go, but......because of so many surgerys I've had I have trouble keeping my left arm close to my body on rotation which I think is my slice problem unless I only swing half to 3/4. Slice is not real bad so I was thinking a draw club would help. On my Burner with the GD shaft. Shaft is weak for a stiff and I prefer a stiffer shaft. In fact I may sell some clubs I have laying around to purchase the new driver. Any other thoughts on the Draw?

I would suggest a fitting and have your swing looked at. As for the lessons, they would help a lot. Need to just find someone who will work with what you have for a swing and not try to totally change how you swing. I went through the same discussion with my self about a draw driver. I chose the regular driver and worked on my swing.

Honestly with my health as it is I don't have time for lessons. Its all I can do to play a time or two a week.....when the weather breaks. In fact I missed Sept and Oct completely last year. I just want to enjoy my game the best I can. If a draw helps thats good enough for me. To be blunt about it time is not on my side with my cancer. Just want to enjoy the game while I still can. Not whining at all thats just the way it is. Thanks for the input guys, but I'd still like some thoughts of a G15 draw.
