My pet peeve with Pro V1s have always been the dull finish and yellowing. Have they corrected this on the new Pro V1s, or do they still fade and yellow?

Because of this I don't play Pro V1s other than the ones I may find. But, they never seem to look quite as nice as other balls of a similar age.

Define "new." They've released new models every odd-numbered year since 2001.

I've never seen them yellow appreciably. I have a bucket of balls that are a year old and they look brand new.

I've never seen them get all the way to yellow, but a dulling yes, I do notice. I don't think that's a great reason not to play a golf ball though. I would expect all golf balls to be slightly less white after a while from scuff barks, sand, dirt, fertilizer, etc.

I can honestly say that I've never seen this as an issue. I've got a dozen or so that have been in my bag for over a year now....and they look new.

I'm only going to get 3 rounds (at most) out of a ball anyway...not so much from wear but due to loss (I'm a hack and play courses with many water hazards).

I've only noticed them dulling or yellowing after they've been out in the sun for a long period of time. I've found them before where the ball was partially buried and the part that was exposed to the elements was discolored but the buried part was white. I think it has something to do with the urethane cover because I've seen other premium balls do the same thing after being outside for a long period of time (weeks\months).

They do dull after a few rounds but in fairness the ball is wrecked after about 9 holes really (new wedges and irons) But I can't bring myself to change a ball unless it is cut.
