Enjoy your free time. When you have to work for a living and to support your family, you won't have that much free time. That's my story and I'm sticking with it.

Sounds exactly like me 5 years ago when I was 14. I couldn't get enough golf. I still can't, but I don't have a lot of time to play during the week these days being a college student. I got to play once all last semester, but this semester I hope I can get out at least one or two times a week. During the summer, barring something unforeseen, I play every single day.

I'm actually coaching my high school team this season that I captained last year so I get to play for free for about a month again...which is nice.

But, yeah, I'm most certainly addicted to this game. I love everything about it.

Many years ago, I played 18 holes everyday. To cut my expenses, I worked as a starter and was able to play for free. The one thing that I regret was not really working to improve my game but just playing. I think its important to work on your short game and putting at least one day of the week. You will find it very rewarding to see the results of your practice by pulling off shots that you practice the day before.

Enjoy, practice and set small goals for yourself to reach.
