First 9 holes of the year in pics.

For those who are still snowed under up north. First shots of the year, just getting some practice in.

First shot....220 yard hybrid off the tee with 2 inches of roll.


2nd shot....soft 115 yard pw plugged 30 feet right. I guess I was scared of the water on the left? Is snow considered rub of the green?? I won't mention how many it took me to get down from here.


I'm hitting new (to me) irons this year and getting improved distance. Actually, I don't know if it's the irons or the work I've done in the past two months on the range. Ball flight is lower/penetrating, and my dispersion seems to have shrunk by many yards. I went from my 13 year old regular shafted game improvement wilson's to Titleist ZB stiff. These irons seem to be a club to a club and a half longer. Don't get me wrong I'm still pretty short. For example I hit two balls over the top of the flag stick flying the 6th green with a 6 and a 7 iron before sticking an 8 iron to 20 feet from 150 yards.


Even I can make this putt!! The result of a 70 yard 60 degree wedge.


The fairways/greens were plugging, tees were up, the greens S L O W, but I was playing golf by golly!

Nice pics. Things are looking up in NJ. 62 degrees, dropped the driver off to be re-shafted, and hit 100 balls at the driving range on lunch. It's beginning to look a lot like golf season again. YES!

Awww yes, the short game.....where for art thou?? I duffed or thinned 3 to 4 bump and run chip shots. I won't even talk about putting. I spent an hour on the green after words, so it can only get better. lol

i am at least 1.5 months away from hitting the links
i have golfed indoors once (simulator - hated it)
and once in the 120 yd indoor range - at least im swinging

felt really good though, didnt feel any flaws....not yet anyways!! hahah!
