Volunteer for a PGA event!

The Barclays is back at Ridgewood CC (Paramus, NJ) Aug 24-29th. We need volunteers, marshals, etc!

Many positions still open. Once Tiger is in top 125, the spots will certainly fill up even faster. Maybe even by the Masters if he gets top 5.

i wanted to volenteer for the womens open this year... it was cheaper to just buy a week pass!!

Yeah they dont do much in ticket sales for the womens open. the volunteer cost is to offset the uniform, free meals, etc, and of course the volunteer outing.

they dont need too many marshals for LPGA. PGA is another matter.

Doubt I can volunteer due to work would be nice if you could hook me up with some discounted tickets though.

Last year was freakingly bad weather. It wasn't hot, but really really rainy, and the mornings were cold.

Two years ago when it was at Ridgewood the weather was perfect all week. Low 60's till about 10am when the sun warmed it up into the mid-upper 70's. It was perfect golf weather all week.

Ridgewood has a lot of areas of sun and shade so you can move around as you like.

Yes it's possible for late August to be muggy and hot but it's been a while since we really had that kind of sustained weather over the late summer.

No it's not back at the "landfill". This year, 2010, it's back at beautiful Ridgewood CC where it was in 2008. It's a great course, plenty of shady areas and holes are close together for easy spectating.

Tiger jumped from 145 to 100 in the FedEx points race. He's sure to have another top 5 finish in The Memorial or the British Open. He's a lock for top 125, thus the Barclays!
