Anyone still play this or upgrade from this recently? Thinking about upgrading my Speedline to the 9015D. Wanted a driver that sets up slightly more open. Was hitting it really well at the store but that doesn't really say much.

If you've upgraded recently from this, what were the reasons. Just would like to hear some reviews on this compared to some of the newer drivers.

Found that timtheputterman on eBay has a few left in 10.5° at a good price so I'm contemplating on upgrading. Hoping to turn my big draw into a baby draw without working on the swing. :)

I have on, put a Harrison Saga in it as the stock shaft is a bit loose. I haven't played it enough to confirm all of what you hear at golfwrx, but it's definitely as good as any driver I've hit. Definitely low spin, I find it to be mid launch (there seems to be a lot of different opinons on it's launch characteristics). My usual ball flight is a fade, and I can say that the 9015 didn't make it any worse on misses, but I can't verify that it's anti-hook with the open face.

What would be a good shaft for this head in your opinion? I'm looking for a high launch, low spin shaft. Thank you!

UST Proforce V2 is a good shaft that meets your requirements but wont break the bank. If you can afford it, go with the UST Mamiya ATTAS.

Just wanted to bring this thread back from the dead to say how much I love this driver. This driver with the ProLaunch Red shaft is awesome and been most steadfast club this year. Anyone still gaming this driver? If you have moved on, what have you upgraded to?

I've owned 3 of them in different lofts. Hot head that produces nice ball speeds, but DID NOT out perform my GEEK in any way. GEEK still here and the 3 stooges(in jest) are gone.

    • Day 19 - 2026-01-08 10 minutes of net work. Feeling very good about changes but need to film soon. Next few days will be indoor mirror work as we head into the mountains.
    • Day 6: 2026.01.09 Some swing work in the mirror. Need to work on home setup to be able to get more out of evenings where I can't make it to the range.
    • I would like to amend my original comment on the new Maxfli irons. Yes, $800 for forged irons is a pretty good price and they do feel good BUT...I have since found out that $800 is only for off the shelf, standard issue clubs with standard lengths, lofts, lies and shafts. Any change made from stock results in huge up-charges so that the final price ends up pretty much the same as similar forged irons from any of the major manufacturers.
    • These were almost all included on the list of Clarifications or revised Model Local Rules released just a few days ago.  I'm pretty sure the first 3 are brand new MLRs (Moved/Wrong Place, Embedded Ball in someone else's pitch mark, Internal OB applies only to tee shot) that the PGA Tour is choosing to use.  The 16.1 Rule (relief near a Putting Green) was revised allowed a Committee to give relief for more than just Immoveable Obstructions, microphone holes would be classed as GUR (a hole made by the maintenance staff).  The replacement club rule was available before, the E-3 (Lift Clean and Place distance) could have been defined as "one scorecard" before, they're just a change in how the PGA choices. Here are the January 1 Clarifications and revised MLRs https://www.usga.org/content/usga/home-page/rules-hub/clarifications-of-the-rules-of-golf.html#cp
