actually regret buying my first set, a game improvement set with graphite shafts. Got me a consistent set instead of mismatched irons, but could not hit them at all. I didn't think there was a problem with them, but once I got my hands on the blades I play now, all of a sudden, I was striping the balls instead of consistently crappy contact. The lack of offset basically gave me a much better idea of how to use the club and golf got easier. I still have that GI set for a spare set of clubs I can lend to my friends but basically didn't do me much good.

Went from Mizuno MX-15s to Titleist DCI 981s and regretted it. Lesson learned: stick with Mizunos.

      Day 40: short range session. Worked on my drill mostly. Finished with some full swings and driver swings. Range was packed because it was so nice out. Solid session though.

      Day 5, 1/3/26.  Today was a weird day schedule-wise, but I did find 15 minutes to hit 6-iron shots (indoors, off a mat, into a net).  I also got to thinking about yesterday's round and, other than a few thin shots (that I think were weather/grip related), I didn't have any wild non-driver shots, which was weird for me.  I need to get back to video, which is tough in my setup. Also, this wouldn't count on its own, but anyone reading this and thinking about doing their own 5 minutes daily, check out Fit for Golf's latest podcast episode.  It's only a few minutes and Mike does a great job talking about the importance of doing a bit each day.  That also reminded me, I let my FFG subscription lapse, I'm going to renew it.
