This past weekend, it was Nike, then Mizuno, Titleist/Cobra, Ping, TM, skipped Cally because the rep annoyed me, and finished bouncing back and forth between Nike and Mizzy again.

Titleist to get custom fit for driver, 3 wood and 2H. I think I'll try out the Ping I15 when they have their demo day just for fun. If I get a chance, I'll also give the Nike VR Split Cavity a shot. (the last two clubs don't have a chance of making the bag, but I'm curious to see how they perform)

Make sure the I15 doesn't have the TFC shaft in it. The AXIVCore makes all the difference in that club. The first time I hit it, all they had was the TFC, and I was very disappointed in the way it felt. This past weekend, I hit it with the AXIVCore Red in it and now I kinda want one

It was sweet with that shaft.
Alright any tips on Finding a demo day? I seem to have bad luck doing it... Where do you guys start looking?

Manufacturer's website.

Titleist would be my first choice since I have exclusively played their clubs since 1999 and my last would have to be Nike......I am a traditionalist and something about playing a square driver............

Uh huh, because all Nike makes is a square driver, right???????

I highly recommend checking out the new VR drivers. Different sound than before, very traditional looking, and they feel great. I hit the STR8-Fit and Tour models of varying sizes, and it's kinda cool seeing and feeling the actual difference between 420cc, 440cc, and 460cc, all side by side. Not that any one of them was better or worse, they just each had a little different feel. Not sure if I'll swap my Dymo STR8-Fit for one, but it is tempting. Then again, so was the 909s and the I15.

    • Day 36: back to some mirror work tonight. Need a bit more forearm roll in my feels to help with the shallowing.
    • _sigh_ so close to red text.  Went away for three days, but didn't do a practice morning-of-departure (Friday) nor evening-of-return (Sunday), so I had three misses, back to day one. Day 1, May 4 2026.  At home today, spent nearly an hour in my practice room, hitting about three dozen practice balls, primarily with my 6-iron.
    • Day 254 5-4 Arms off chest in backswing and downswing. Short swing, pause and then hit.  Hit foam balls. Keeping arching of wrist a focus as well.
    • I would think of it in terms of time. The time it takes to get the arm angle into a good position to deliver the club with proper shaft lean. Another component is rotation, but that is also a matter of timing. It relates to how the body stalls to give the golfer time to hit the ball. If you have to get 80+ degrees out of that right elbow in one third of a second versus 50 degrees in the same time then you have to steal time from somewhere. It is usually body rotation. That does not help with shaft lean.  I agree in that amateurs tend to make the swing more complicated than pro golfers.
    • I haven't been able to practice like I wanted and won't for the next week.  1. The weather sucks in Ohio this year. I have been mostly inside hitting foam balls. Just kind of my basic stuff.  2. I woke up last Saturday with a left side rib muscle on fire. If I turned or leaned a certain way it would spasm that almost buckled my knees. I have been taking a break to let that settle. I don't want to get a long term injury. I think I pinched a nerve or just aggravated a muscles.   3. I am going on a mini-vacation to Florida (screw you Ohio weather) with a friend, and rolling that into a work conference I have next week. I will be with out my clubs for a week.  I will be back next in two Fridays to hit the ground running with some warmer temps and better weather in Ohio, hopefully. I would really like to get more out on the course and the range.
