so i walked into a store called "roots & relics" yesterday. it sells new and used golf clubs, basically i guess you could say its a Gamestop for golf clubs.

i remembered hearing about that 10iron that nickent made and i just had to see for myself how ridiculous a "10" on the sole of an iron looked. i honestly chuckled a little when i saw it. im sure its great for new players but i dont think i could ever get used to the idea of having a 10 iron in the bag.

i may be off track but didn't/doesn't callaway also make a 10 iron? i used to work in a pro shop and for some reason i can't help but think i remember seeing callaway iron sets that were 4-10.

Every Nickent club iron made is right up there at the top of the ugly meter. I don't know how, if they have a new master iron-designer, how they can churn out such ugly looking work. Sure, they may play well, but "ick."

PowerBilt used to make a 10 iron as well in their "citation" line.

Callaway makes a 10 iron which is the PW. I had Callaways for about 2 years and I never really thought about it. If someone were to ask me which club I hit, I would never say the ten iron, I would say a PW.

Well, I should say that I saw the Nickent 3DX Pro irons last weekend and they weren't all that bad looking. Their Genex Blades are a good looking iron set as well so that means that 50% of their clubs look O.K.
