It is a close call between my 983 and the Hogan Hybrid 3i. I feel great standing over the driver, but I only use it a few time a round. The Hybrid on the other hand I can use from the fairway, on a tight tee shot and on par 3's ranging from 175-215. I also use it to hit low punch shots and trouble shots. I guess that is my answer. However, i only used it once yesterday on a tight par 4. Nailed it by the way. Dead center of the fairway to set up a perfect distance to push my wedge right of the green.

I loveee my Titleist 983k! Its been a real asset to me this year.
I also love my new Vokey wedges... I wish I would have bought all 3 at once. I'm going to be purchasing the sand wedge as soon as I find a good deal.

I have this lob wedge, It's a Toski "Target" 60* head on a Titleist graphite shaft, with a royal grip, I got it off of ebay for about $15, and it feels so sweet. I've chiped in so many times with that (several times from around 40 yards out, as well).

Besides the magical R7 XD irons, the best club I've purchased is my new 56 deg TP wedge. I traded in my 60 deg Cleaveland for the 56. I hit it much more consistantly.

In The Bag:

3,5 Wood Aldila NV 75s
Rescue Dual 16 deg 3i hyb

    • I've been putting whilst looking at the hole and it's definitely helped my distance control
    • I wonder if that is why my home course basically have no stakes now.  Not even markers.  It’s completely up to golfers to remember what is OB and hazard and how things used to be marked.     Even in tournaments, there is no marking and certain areas are played differently by different golfers who either don’t know better or use it to their advantage funny reading thru this with courses that actually have markers
    • is it though?????? "Millions of fans"?????
    • Great post, thanks for the informaiton. I try to avoid adding salt to anything I eat. I tend to add pepper on to my meals as opposed to salt. And I am trying to eat as clean on possible. On golf day, I eat 3 eggs for breakfast (pepper NO salt) and a salad for lunch, with grilled chicken thigs (pepper, garlic, no salt). I have been trying to avoid processed food, but we all slip. I also should have mentioned that the electrolyte packet calls for mixing with 16 oz of water, however I mix in 32 oz of water, so I dilute the electrolyte powder.
    • So if I read the news correctly, the PIF will not fund LIV after this season.  LIV is trying to find new funding and a number of players there are now asking about getting back to the Tour.    I am very, very concerned that Taylor Gooch will not have a place where he can make a jackass out of himself soon
