Looking for opinions. Did a search and didn't really find too much on these as of yet. Also, this may be a stupid question but, are these forged? I can't seem to find that out anywhere. Thanks!

They are not forged. I think most Cleveland clubs, wedges and irons, are cast. I wouldn't swear to that, but I can't recall a forged club from them.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

Starting with the CG10 wedges, Cleveland began using a CMM metal alloy in wedges and irons. According to promo material, CMM consists of steel with small carbon spheres suspended in it. The spheres reportedly reduce vibration and gives a softer "feel" to a cast club. Check website:

they're meant to be great wedges giving plenty of spin.
I'm more into Vokey's though.
You should try the both of them out, maybe try out the Ping Tour-W wedge too.

My buddy has a brand new CG12 that he might be willing to sell. Can anyone let me know what the differences are between a CG10, CG12 and CG15 ?
I saw Golf Galaxy has the CG10 for $69 and the CG15 for $129. Curious also what a good price to offer him for his slightly used CG12. Think he paid $117 new last season.

I believe the biggest difference is the grind and shape of the head and sole. Check clevelands site and root around, I'm sure its there.

I'd offer no more than $50 - $70 for a used wedge.

CG15's all have a milled face, they really rip up the balls though. There is no difference in the 3 colours you get, they all p[lay the same, its just cosmetic. After speaking to a few people who know about these things I have heard that the 10s area lot better than the 12s. Apparantly the 12s were rushed out to coincide with the CG14s. The 10s are like the old 900 serries wedges that were the biggest selling by miles and also my fave wedges.

I would also like to see a review of the CG-15's. I will be replacing my 56 soon and have heard a lot of talk about these.
