Seriously, does he ever smile anymore? It actually saddens me to watch a guy with so much talent throw it away like this, with such a crappy attitude.

Ben

I'm not familiar with that adjective. Please elaborate.

In my UnderArmour Links stand bag...

Grumpy. Surly. Like a moaning child who doesn't get his way. (Urban Dictionary)

to be fair i dont think a lot of people would be smiling whilst they were in the middle of shooting a 76

I bet most people on this forum would be happy at a course with tour settings on getting a 76

You have a handicap of 17.7, I'm sure you would.

I see what you mean. But the guy just has a rotten attitude. He has so much talent, easily enough to win a major, but he NEVER will. Because of that mental weakness.

Not to worry...after using the Vardon grip his entire career, Sergio has switched to the interlocking grip .

Just a slump, no idea why he is changing his grip?

At the Transitions Championship he (Sergio) signed a few autographs on the way to the practice tee in the morning...Those who walked by..... include our Ryder Cup Captain Corey Pavin (what a tool) and Zach Johnson.

BTW...there was only about 8 people wanting auto's in the early morning, including my 13 year old son. I was the 9th and stood way back...I grew out of auto's about 30 years ago.

Bet money on the Euro's this year....Our captain has the personality of a empty bottle of beer.

Yeah, and played pretty poorly with it.He pulled every shot I saw him hit.

It reminds of a guy at the range who'll experiment with something and hit a few decent shots with it.'Oh!!I've found the answer! Only for him to stink it out the next day. Seriously, he's come close to winning majors several times with his old grip, why change it now?If anything needs work it's his putting and attitude.
A great shot is when you go for it and pull it off. A smart shot is when you don't have the guts to try it. ~ Phil Mickelson.

People with that attitude refuse to believe it's their attitude that's the problem, unfortunately.

Sergio needs to grow up. He acts like a spoiled child who doesn't always get his way. What a BABY!

Wonder if he's been spitting in any more cups lately.

Some perverse side of my psyche takes great pleasure from his poor play. Sort of like watching a bratty child punished.

I also felt the same way watching Tiger give his interview on 18 last Sunday...the game sort of spanked him a bit. Phil's swashbucking victory must be a bitter pill for young Eldrick.

Sergio is a little bitch. He is the only player on tour that I extremely hate.

I liked Sergio when he was younger and thought he would grow up has most men do, but it has not happen. Poor little Sergio!

They said Sergio changed his grip because he still has problems with his wrist after his injury late last year - the interlocking seemed to help him take some pressure off that wrist.......

IMHO, he was devastated after his loss to Padraig at The Open Championship......ever since then, he's gone from sometimes whiney to just plain depressing.....I hope he finds his game soon, kid has a lot of talent, but he needs to work on the attitude......it appears he could really use a 6 month hiatus from golf - just disappear for a while, find some happiness, and come back with a better outlook....

I also think his game went downhill after Greg Normans daughter left him. Apparantely he was devastated by her decision to leave and his game suffered and still is suffering.
