My instructor says to play every ball pretty much off my left heel (right handed) my trajectory is so high. I feel like I could hit a lower longer ball if I could play it back. Every time I try the ball flys almost strait right... Does this happen to anyone else? What did u find wrong with ur swing that fixed your problem

I'm guessing that, if pushing right is your problem when it's near the back of your stance, your hands are lagging behind your body with an open clubface. I would say you should focus on really coming around with your hands and making sure the clubface is square at impact.

The club face is supposed to be open farther back in the stance, it is why many suggest doing it when you want to hit a draw. The club is moving in-to-out, the club face angle is open. Result = draw, if the angles are right.

You probably hit it high as a result of weight too far back, flipping the club or something like that. Combined with a ball back in the stance at it could well produce a push.
