I would try to go with the shaft that gives the best results for the least amount of cash, results being more important than cash though. If 200$ shaft would be the one, I would buy it, no questions.

Hell no!! I wouldn't pay $200 for any club, much less a piece of a club. If I had lots of money to blow, I would put that money towards a few lessons. They would always be worth more.
