So I just got fitted the other day for new irons and am getting ready to place the order. Im a sophomore in highschool and am about a 5 handicap. My top 2 choices are the new Titleist CB's or the Miura CB-501. Do I spend the extra few hundred bucks for the Miura's or get the Titleists????? Thanks in advance...

Which Titleist CBs and Miuras are you looking at. Have you hit both?

Titleist CB 710 and Miura CB-501, yes i hit both and the fitter said either would be a good choice

I've only hit the CB 710, which I like quite a bit. What are you looking to gain over the mp57? The Miuras look to be a bit more cavity than the 710, more similar to your mp set?

the reason im replacing the mp 57's is because i've had them for three years and theyre basically worn out, also the shafts arent stiff enough, the miura's and the titleists seemed to be pretty similar to one another the cavity is just slightly bigger on the miuras

I'd say go with what feels better to you, hit a few with both again and if you're really stuck between the two choices, i say go with what feels more rewarding at impact.

If feel is similar and you don't need the potential added forgiveness, I'd take the extra money that the Titleist saves and be sure to fit them with the ideal shafts and grips for your game.

^^^^

That's the BEST idea when you're torn between two sets.
