I just got a new set of irons (5-PW, Mizuno MX-300's) and really don't like the stock rubber grips. I've previously used and loved good tacky wrap grips. I'm going to change the irons over to a wrap grip but I'm not sure if I should change my 3 hybrids, 3w and D as well?

On one hand, re-gripping is generally a good thing - I'd say most people play with worn out grips. The grips on my D though hybrids are all rubber as well, but they don't bother me like the stock Mizuno's do. I also don't want to upset the "feel" those clubs currently have. My driver probably needs a regrip, the hybrids probably too. The 3w is new but for constancy its probably best to do as well. Also, maybe its just me, but having the a wrap style grip on a driver just seems weird - even though I'm used to playing wraps on my irons for years!

What do you do when you re-grip clubs - re-grip them all, or just the irons and have a mixed grip set?? Or both but use a traditional/stock rubber grip on the woods and possibly something else on the irons?

Maybe I'm making a too big a deal out of this and should just regrip them all to the same - same feel *should* help consistency (well, at least it wouldn't hinder it).

I just regrip when they are worn out. I am not a good enough golfer to notice much difference between grips. Or maybe I just don't care?

I regrip as needed. I recently regripped my SW-7iron and driver, but didnt do any of the others. Those are the clubs i use to most so they are the ones they were most worm. Ive had the same grips on my 4/5 irons and 3 wood for nearly two years now.
