I wear tri-focals. I have found that I look through the top at address but it is at the extreme near end of that lens range. The midlens is at computer distance so the ball is a bit past the range of the midlens at address. I believe my glasses are a problem with my ball striking and is most apparent with irons.

I wear glasses while playing. I'd love to have prescription Oakley's. Does anyone have a pair? How much did they cost and how are they?

I've worn glasses since I was 14. When I was in my 20s, I went to contact lens, then back to regular glasses after the service. (The Age of Aquarius required round gold wire rims, if you recall, with transition lens.) Then back to contacts in my late 30s. Presbyopia set in my 40s. I couldn't keep the scorecard for the group any more, but I still wore contacts on the course. The rest of the time I word bifocals, but they were a no-go for golf. The slightest move of the head moved the ball six inches. Very disconcerting. Then came the trifocals diagnosis. Time for Varilux, which I still wear, but my sunglasses are straight long distance -- have to take them off to read a scorecard -- and I wear them no matter what the sun situation is on the golf course, since the Varilux lenses cause putts to break uphill and stuff.

My eyes aren't too bad but I need to wear glasses to see where my ball ends up. Anything 150+ is hard to see.

You can always get a pair of rec specs. Very stylish.

Tiger wore glasses when he was young. I never have, but if I wear sunglasses I have to leave them on the entire time I can't take them on and off all day or they will start hendering my play
