I got a decent deal on a new set of Mp32's online, so I pulled the trigger. I'm hoping I like them. After hearing how great the 32's are for years, I finally just jumped on a set.

I'm playing a set of X-Tours right now that I've been playing for a couple years now. However, I noticed a bent shaft on my 3i the other day and figured i'd put the cash toward a new set instead of just replacing the 3. I imagine I'll finally settle on a combo set with blades in the 7 or 8-P and something like the MP57 or 58 in the rest. For now though, I'd like to work on my ball striking and figured a set of blades will make me improve. I'm currently around a 10 or 11 handicap up from a 5 or 6 since law school started (law school is trying to ruin my game.) I'll have to post a report in a few weeks after a few rounds and some range time.

I've got a set of those that were living in my closet for a while, but I just put them back in my bag in place of my older Taylor cavity backs. The 32's are definitely harder to hit, but with all but my worst swings the difference in forgiveness really isn't that punishing. OTOH most other things that feel as good as a flush strike are illegal in most states, the trajectory is better, and they're really pretty... They may stay in play until I spring for a forged cavity set. Hope you enjoy yours.

    • Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.
    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
