So the reason why I'm still waiting has arrived... someone apparently forgot to key my order in. Ping says I'll have them by early next week. Can't wait to be playing clubs that fit me!

My clubs are on backorder all of the sudden and I am getting pretty angry with these people. Is there anyway I can upgrade my shipping to like next day air or anything if i pay the difference? Taylormade has me pretty upset and they have poor customer service and I am now in a pinch for my irons

Thats the problem with getting clubs custom fit. PGA and the golf media tell you to get fit get get fit get fit, but then when you order custom clubs, the manufacturers hold on to the them for a month and push/force buyers to just buy them off the rack.

I would guestimate that 90% of golf purchases are impulse buys...

    • Day 36: back to some mirror work tonight. Need a bit more forearm roll in my feels to help with the shallowing.
    • _sigh_ so close to red text.  Went away for three days, but didn't do a practice morning-of-departure (Friday) nor evening-of-return (Sunday), so I had three misses, back to day one. Day 1, May 4 2026.  At home today, spent nearly an hour in my practice room, hitting about three dozen practice balls, primarily with my 6-iron.
    • Day 254 5-4 Arms off chest in backswing and downswing. Short swing, pause and then hit.  Hit foam balls. Keeping arching of wrist a focus as well.
    • I would think of it in terms of time. The time it takes to get the arm angle into a good position to deliver the club with proper shaft lean. Another component is rotation, but that is also a matter of timing. It relates to how the body stalls to give the golfer time to hit the ball. If you have to get 80+ degrees out of that right elbow in one third of a second versus 50 degrees in the same time then you have to steal time from somewhere. It is usually body rotation. That does not help with shaft lean.  I agree in that amateurs tend to make the swing more complicated than pro golfers.
