hope I made the right decision. I've never been a Taylor Made guy. Always been a Callaway guy when it comes to woods/metals.

Was playing the FTIQ with a stiff Fubuki shaft. Loved the trajectory and ball flight. Seem to be nice and straight when I hit it right. But....I think the shaft was a little too stiff for me. Just didn't feel like I was "unloading" it and was really iratic. Slice one shot, pull one shot, topped the next.

So...I went in to GolfSmith and tried a bunch of different drivers. Swing speed seemed to average about 92is mph. They recommended Regular flex shaft. Of all the drivers I hit, the R9 just felt the most solid. And the launch monitor seem to suggest it was the longest (by about 10 yards) and consistantly straightest.

While I was/am a little apprehensive, it just felt the best and monitor suggested the best stats. So....here's to hoping for the best on the course!

What I Play:

Driver: R9 460
4 Wood: G15

Hy: Callaway FT 3Hy

Irons: AP1 4-PW

Wedges: Vokey 52* & 60*, Mizuno MP-T 10 58*

Putter: Newport Studio Select 2.7

Ball: Nike One Vapor
