The 9 to 3 drill. This really solidifies the supination of the wrist combined with hips driving the golf swing through impact. Since impact is the most critical part of the swing this is where I have seen the most results. Today I was doing the drill hitting little fades and draws.

+1 for this drill for me. It must be done brushing the grass or clipping weeds for maximum effect. Also, don't get too wide with the stance, otherwise the ability to drive the arms with the pivot gets diminished somewhat and the shoulders take over. The 3'oclock part isn't critical either. If you can do 9 to 12, that's great. Just make sure that it's the pivot that's carrying your hands to 12 and not any arm lifting or standing up. Keep the right side firm and turn into it so your hands can get deep. Keep the spine angle all the way to 3'oclock before you stand up a bit. This drill dropped my handicap 5 points easy.

Here is the drill that has dropped my handicap into single digits. Getting into early position to hit. Gary Player was a proponent, stepping into his shots. As he pointed out, balance is key to this move because your backswing 'sling' is the motor to moving you to the left side and there is a lot of energy to dissipate (hence his step into follow through).

That's cool. I figured out that drill before I even knew anyone else was doing it. I've always preferred a forward ball position because you really have to get down with a lot of lag to hit the ball for this reason.
