how often do you upgrade to a new driver?

I definitely think about it whenever I'm hitting the ball poorly. But deep down I know it's me, not the club. I do always have to be obsessing about some part of my golf equipment though, and scanning through ebay for deals and whatnot. Right now my fairway wood is on the chopping block.

Im currently on a 4 year plan.... and I always buy the "last year" model. Bought a Tour Burner last year, had a R580 before that, then a 360Ti before that. I skipped the R5, R7 and R9s because I don't like the idea of MWT. I feel like I'd spend more time working with the weights that playing or practicing. Im planning on a complete new setup next year though and I plan to try things I never have owned before.... mainly because all the new Ping stuff is so sexy!

Drivers have been maxed out for years,now. I DO like the face adjustability on some new drivers,though.

I'm fairly certain driver technology maxed out in 2006 with the R7 425 TP.

Seriously though, I've only played 4 real drivers in my 1 years of golfing. The Titliest 975D titanium was in the bag for a very, very long time.

Not since Tuesday. This is Thursday,so could be another one before end of week!!

It's Saturday and I still have Tuesday's Driver. However,I had food poisoning and didn't play or practice until today Tuesday Driver- Diamond Tour Golf 190 12 degree-Stulz Tri-Edge 50-33-030 shaft (46.5" long)-Winn Lite grip 273 gram total weight.
