I've read through a few articles and threads about what a lighter shaft will do, so this has me confused.

My flight pattern was a draw with a 60g shaft Taylor Made 08 burner (and all my other clubs), but it broke. So I tried out some new drivers not really looking to closely, found one that felt nice and had a nice little draw on the sim and bought it

Now, it is a 45g shaft Taylor Made 09 Burner. So it is lighter, but the flex (R) is the same. I can't play a draw to save my life!

Isn't it supposed to be more draw-prone with a lighter shaft?
