My comments about the pairings:

Goosen, Furyk, Cabrera: Cabrera should bring a few packs of cigarettes (and maybe cigars). He'll have plenty of time to smoke waiting on Furyk.
Watney, Mahan, Barnes: I like at least one of these young guys to be there on Sunday.
Garcia, Stricker, Casey: Here's your past, present, and future "Best player to not win a major" group.
Westwood, Els, Woods: The marquee group... although I like Westwood the most from here.

Interesting grouping.....could be the "didn't you just talk shit about me" group.... Ernie recently call Tiger "selfish" for holding a press conference during the match play and add "you can print that" Lee Westwood just talked major crap about Ernie's re-design at Wentworth..... Has Tiger said anything about Westwood lately? Maybe he has told those around him that he isn't a "closer"

There's:

an over 45 group.

all born in CA and blonde "the beach boys" group.

all US Open winner, PGA winner and BO winner group.

No all Masters winner group. Perhaps a nah-nah from USGA to AGN.

an under 5'10" group.

I would have figured they would have given the marquee group a little later starting time to take advantage of prime time on the east coast. Are they doing that this year?

Tiger's group will be finishing up just about 9:30 pm or so EDT.......with Phil's group doing the same on Friday......lots of very solid groupings on either sides of those late tee times as well.

Should be great!!!!!!

    • Day 29 (9 Dec 25) - PW dink and rolls as well as low flighted chips.  Dink and rolls - set up with club head toe down/heel up to promote low flight, plenty of roll out.  Low flighted pitches - club flat on the ground to get ball up a Rick more and check more.   No more than 10yds total distance - focus on getting the ball to finish near (within 10’ dia circle) the target “pin”…

    • Only ever used ShipSticks and never had a problem. It's really nice because you can ship to anywhere not just courses.  No matter what you use, I take the extra care of the clubs and wrap them in something before putting them in your bag and into the shipping box.
    • Practicing my putting after work. I put five balls on the carpet and a mug on the other side. Once I make 3 out of 5 I can stop. If I leave any short or they go to far and fall off the rug, I restart.  Focusing on speed and hitting my mark 3 inches in front of me. Trying to gain consistency and discipline in all aspects of my putting game.
