My 56 degree Cleveland DSG sand wedge was bent upright on accident (putting bag into the car). It's visible twhere the shaft meets the hosel that the club has been bent upright. How many degrees etc. I don't know...but it's visible, so I assume it's a lot.

I hit it a little afterwards. It feels like there's less loft on it (i could be wrong). It also feels a little funny on full shots as I feel like I need to get closer to the ball so that the toe isn't in the air.

What would be the effects of having a club bent (pretty severely in my estimation) upright? Should I try and get it fixed and/or can it be fixed? It's a CG12, DSG that will be tough to replace. I love that wedge.

You need to get it to the club doc asap to assess the damage. There they can put it on the lie/loft machine and tell you how much it is bent. If it is just a degree or two then you shouldn't have an issue getting it back to spec. If it is more than a few degrees you might have an issue or it may still be able to be fixed. Usually anything @ 3 degrees is risky for a cast club.
