How do you bring your golf clubs on flights? I'm worry that some clubs get damage on the way....

I have been browsing around and found travel covers, but those things are not sturdy enough to protect the club heads...

Any suggestion?
Whats in my Golf Bag:
Driver: Nike Sumo 5000
5 Wood: Mizuno MP-001
Iron: Mizuno MX-950 5-PW
Wedge: Cobra FP 60 degrePutter: Odyssey 2-BallBall: Yellow balls

I use SKB or whaever they are called, hard travel covers.
What is in my Bag
s59 Tour(3-PW)
Tour Wedges (56* and 60*)
G5 Driver(10.5*)
G5 Fairways (15* and 18*) Dual Force 2 #1Home Course Indian Valley

I would check out the recent review one of the staff did on a travel bag, it was pretty complete, a good place to start.

Go to the TGW and/or Edwin Watts web sites and look at the travel bags for golf clubs, there. Then go to those manufacturers' web sites. You can easily get a lot of information. There are several good options available, including the Ogio travel bag reviewed by Erik in the Review section of this web site. Good luck.

My personal preference is for the "hybrid" style bags. They're essentially golf bags with reinforced sides and a hard-shell top that latches on to protect your heads.
