New Clubs This Weekend! Need Some Advice

Hey y'all,

I got some new irons this weekend (Cobra S2 Max) and a new driver (Taylormade Burner) and I have a few questions to ask...
Is there anything that you can do about ball marks on the face of the club, such as the red paint off of driving range balls? I just want to keep my clubs nice for as long as I can... Also, is there any type of care you guys give to new clubs before taking them to the course for the first time to keep them nice?

Really just clean them after every shot or time you play. For me, if I need to I'll clean them after a few shots but for the most part just a damp towel after I play.

I've had pretty good luck with SOS pads. The steel wool on them is pretty fine so they won't do any damage to the finish.

Give 'em a spit and rub with the towel every few shots, and then wipe them good with a damp rag at home...

Marks will happen, less so with cast clubs. I'd be sure to avoid hitting the irons with sandy range balls.
