Ashley Prange placed 7th on the Futures tour playing 18 out of 19 events and making $36,107. She was $3,310 short of getting her card.

You gotta wonder if she doesn't play in that LPGA event whether she would make enough to get her card.

Now she has to go to Q School. The only bright side to this is she advances straight to the final round.

In case you were wondering:
29. Kristina Tucker $16,029
40. Jeanne Cho $11,199
61. Dana Lacey $5,986
65. Becky Lucidi $5,162
84. Katie Ruhe $4,244

Odd that she fell to seventh. Last I heard the season was over, she'd missed out, and she was sixth. Now she's seventh. Hmmm. Oh well.

If you can't make it on the Futures Tour, I'm not sure how likely it is that you'll survive on the LPGA Tour. The disparity between the two is far greater than that between the Nationwide and PGA Tour.

I was kinda hoping ol' Keg Legs would make a splash.

A cannonball would be her best bet there....

I was rooting for her. I'm not sure why, but I find her incredibly annoying and arrogant, but sympathetic at the same time.

But frankly, the way she was playing in the last few tournaments, I don't think playing in the LPGA event made any difference. I don't think she would have finished in the top 5 money list of the Futures even if she hadn't played in the Safeway event. Now that her back is against the wall, maybe she'll do well enough in Q-school to qualify.

I thought Jeanne Cho had more game that Ashley anyway, but she had a bad day in the finals and Ashley capitalized. Not taking anything away from Ashley, I just thought Jeanne would make more of a showing.
