I am curious to hear from others.

In my case, my swing path is consistently inside-out for every swing. But my club face is not consistent.

If my club face is square to the path, then I push straight to right.
If my club face is square to the target, then my ball starts straight and hooks to the left
If my club face is between, then ball starts right but draws back to target.

Is this just me? Or is this common where swing path is consistent but club face isn't.

My clubface is nearly always dead on (and my dead on I mean just a touch open, the way I like it).

So in your case, your swing path is less consistent than the clubface?

Definitely would think swing path is much more consistent in golfers then club face per say. I mean if you think about a round you might have, you will probably have a distinct shape of shot you are hitting that day. As the ball flight laws clearly state, the shape of the ball is determined by the swing path while the club face angle at impact determines where the ball starts out.

My natural swing path and ball flight is a fade. Now how much of a fade and where the fade goes depends entirely on what my club face angle does at impact. Open face - push fade. Closed face - pull fade. See my point? I think it is far easier to manipulate the club face than it is to the swing path which is why it takes people so long to fix whatever problem they naturally have a slice or a hook. If swing paths were so inconsistent you'd see people hooking on one tee, slicing their second shot, and pushing their putts or something like that.

Yup, but as MSUGolfer pointed out, I might be an anomaly.
