Was doing Yoga as part of P90X earlier this year and felt that it was beneficial. I'm not very flexible so the Yoga was hard for me but the added flexibility feels like it helps me swing a club (and a softball bat) more easily.

What's in my bag?

It helps you with improved flexibility, and balance. In addition, your mind should be relax with yoga. I used to do it and it really helped my game, however I didn't stick with it.

I prefer the frozen chocolate kind.

Seriously though I think it rquires a certain mental ability. I did p90X for a while and ended up swapping the yoga with more cardio/plyo I just don't have the temperment for it as my mind is always racing no matter what. The reflection and breathing thats supposed to be with it just makes it worse and makes me antsy.

I've never done it yet. I am planning on doing a yoga class at my gym next week for the first time ever. It is way out of my comfort zone but I wanted to try something different. I currently lift and do cardio which I really haven't seen any golf benfits from so I thought I'd give it a try.

just go to a normal beginner's yoga class. as a long time yogi(one who practices yoga), every beginner should take a few classes to learn how to properly do the poses, breathing, and flow. if you've never been in a yoga class a book is pretty useless, imho. i think you'll just be frustrated.

there are some really hot milfs usually, so that's a plus. not that i'm looking or anything.;)
