Does anyone have this shaft in a wedge? I have the Project X Flighted 6.0 in my irons. I'm considering buying new wedges before the end of the year and am thinking about this shaft. Most wedges come with some form of True Temper/Dynamic Gold. I don't necessarily dislike this shaft, just thinking about putting the same shaft that's in my irons in m wedges.

I've had project x shafts in my wedges before and liked them. I went with KBS wedge shafts in my newer wedges which I like as well. The project X are a little tighter and stiffer and the KBS are a little softer with a little more boring trajectory. Either way anything is better than that crap dynamic gold wedge flex that comes in most wedges.

I put a project x 6.0 in my gap wedge because i use it more for full swing, and put s200 in my sand and lob for a higher trajectory and softer landing. Some people may not like the change in shafts and think it is stupid but i like it and prefer it

P X also makes the rifle spinner shaft specifically for wedges. This offers a somewhat softer shaft for players who mainly hit partial shots with wedges.

Any of you play spinner shaft? Like it?

Spinner is a great shaft----yep I play spinners in one set of my wedges.

The other sets have PX with one step softer than my irons. I rarely hit full wedge shots so this set up allows be to spin those low crisp wedge shots.Within my game the high floaters the shaft flex does not matter.

re-opening thread..... I am currently using project x flighted 5.5 on my irons 1/2 inch longer. If I am going to upgrade from the uniflex vokey shafts and go to the project x flighted should i get them 1/2 inch longer as well? and do I keep the 5.5 flex for the wedges or go to 6.0? Would be re-shafting 60 deg vokey, 52 deg vokey, and 56 deg vokey. Thanks
