2 yrs ago I bought myself some mizuno irons 2nd hand MP60s and 3 new wedges. These were a vast improvement on my previous clubs and so I thought that was me sorted for at least 5 years. My game has been coming along nicely with a few sub 80 rounds this year.
Last day out I found a Donnay 420 Firefly SW thrown in a bunker at the 3 rd green so I put it in my bag to bring back to the club house. Out of interest I took one shot with it and was astounded at how easy it was to hit. I couldn't leave the damm thing down and looked forward to each and every tricky 50 - 80 yrd shot and nailed em all with this club. I was going to do a runner with it but left it in the club house for it's right ful owner who did not return for it so I now am the proud owner of this great club.
Trouble is I want more ... more .. more of them. But I can't even find a set on sale on ebay. I figure they are cheap clubs but I gotta try the PW of them and hopefully the whole set. Any one know any reputable sites or better still have you played with this or a similar club?
Thanks ... J

I think Bjorn Borg used Donnay clubs.

This SW appears to have more bounce on it but as I have a relatively flat swing I would have thought the additional bounce would cause me to thin it with this club. As I don't give a rat's *** what kind of club I have in my bag or how much I paid for them I would love to get an other one or 2 of these clubs just to give them a go. one other thing that impressed me about it was the amount of spin it imparted on the ball and even short 40 yrders were pulling up nicely on the green. Far more so than I ever remember with my more expensive Mizunos.
