I need a better printer. I do a lot of black and white printing, and the printer I have sucks the life out of cartridges. HP DeskjetD1560. Can anyone recommend something less thirsty?

If you only do black and white consider a cheap laser from HP, Samsung, or Brother. Laser print costs are cheaper than inkjet. If you need to print color sometimes, and ink cost is more important than print quality take a look at the Kodak printers, their cost per page is the lowest for inkjets unless you get into the more expensive HP printers like the OfficeJet 8500 series.
