I think the last video game I played was pong. No, I take that back, I played wii golf once and damn near threw my back out swing at air with a remote control.

Don't have a 360 but I'll be buying Madden this year for the first time in a long time for PS3. Haven't played much more than the odd game on a mate's system since PS2 days so I'm looking forward to getting my hands on this year's edition. Doesn't come out here until tomorrow though

I just had to ask. Folks in New Zealand give a sh*t about our NFL football? Hummmm. I would never have guessed it.

Oh, and yes, I bought this year's Madden the day of release on PS3. It's my first Madden that I've bought in two seasons. After about two days w/ it, I think I made a good choice in getting this year's edition. It's a great game all around.

Ha nope not at all, I'm very much in the minority here when it comes to liking the NFL (Madden was actually got me into football when I hired out Madden 2000 once years ago). People round these parts tend to stick to rugby union or rugby league. It sucks too because we only get the Sunday and Monday Night Football games on espn live and a random FOX Sports game delayed each week on TV. I end up having to follow the live scoring on nfl.com or trying to find a stream to watch any others.

      I appreciate that you have taken the time to come back and update. Based on what was previously discussed I feel like the points were; forged, feel good, price, and possibly players distance. If you like the "looks" of those Maxfli irons and if price is a major point, then going straight to the source, Maltby, might make sense. Specifically, the TS3 iron. I was looking into this myself and found some reviews: Fit2YouGolf, Lets Play Thru, and ELITE FIT GOLF. As per your update I found the Maxfli to be ~$1300 fitted the way I wanted. Where the TS3 with the same fitting and assembled by Golfworks was less than $750. I suppose the downside is to actually hit the iron you will need to get lucky and find someone in your golf circle who will let you hit theirs or order a 6 or 7 iron to test. However, the way I look at that is being equivalent to some fittings. If you like the results and buy, then the fitting is free, otherwise the price of the fitting is a sunk cost. If name brand is important, then I submit for your consideration - THE BEST OVERALL IRON of 2024...... FACT !! 😉 A bit tongue in cheek that but also, I feel some good points were discussed.
