Anyone ever been fitted at the "factory" by club makers? Something like "The Oven" on the Nike commercials. Next year I am buying a totally new setup from putter to driver (mainly because I have never bought a new set of irons and mine are about 6 years old). I would like to go to my local golf store and hit all the irons they have to see which ones fit my eye, have the best feel, and give me the confidence that I can do something with them. But then I would like to hook up with the club manufacturer's facility for a true fitting from them and not some part time high school kid that works at the local golf shop (no disrespect intended to anyone) and pushes whatever club they think is the best. Is this even possible or is that something that only sponsored players get as a benefit?
