Dicks has the Walter Hagen T3 set and Golf Galaxy has the MS2. They look very similar but are a bit different, have almost the same descriptions, and about the same price. I can't find the difference between these two sets anywhere. Anyone know the difference?

I had the same question, and ended up just going with the T3 because I had a $20 gift card to Dick's. I bought 'em today and love them so far. First set of clubs I've played with that weren't borrowed beaters from the 70's though. I wonder if they aren't just renamed for each retailer.

Im in the same shoes. Ive onl had my grandfathers clubs so these would do fine for me starting off. I also wonder if they were renamed with a slightly diff design. How do you like the driver?

Well, although the irons seem nicer, the driver is loads better than what I had been playing around with. I can't hit a driver to save my life tho. The 3 wood seems fine to this novice. I honestly haven't hit the hybrids yet.

Thanks! Ordered the T3 and knocked the price down with a discount. Its a much better deal than anywhere else so even if the driver does dent up I can order a higher quality one separately.

They had the drivers for $9.97 a few weeks back, I think they are $20 now.

So, a bit of research reveals that "Walter Hagen" products are Dick's house brand. Dick's bought Golf Galaxy a while back, so that explains their presence there. They are made by Nicklaus Golf.
