I am looking for a 58*/10* bounce wedge, I am using the 58*/12* Vokey C-C Oil Can now, but I am not very fond of the rusting (I know they are supposed to, but I like the color, not the rust).

I know you can keep them from rusting by keeping them dry and clean, but I forgot after a day in the rain and now they started rusting ...... pfffff.

Anyway I consider myself good enough or experienced enough to know what I want in a wedge and I like the 58* but I am looking for one with a 10* bounce ...... most are more or less, 6-8* or 12-14*

I think 10* is ideal combination of enough from rough and sand and still very playable from tighter lies..... but somehow the idea is less recognized by the clubmakers.

All I can find in a let's say minimal offset classic blade like design is the Scratch 1018 EGG.

Bending a 56/07 to 58/09 Vokey might be possible, but I don't like the idea of bending a cast iron 2*

Today I found a Mizuno MP-R Black Nickle 58/10 ...... but I know nothing about these .... any good ???

MacGregor MT Pro DW 58/10-if you can find one. My favorite wedge ever-forged, actually with a tiny amount of onset. I agree that 10 degrees of bounce seems to be the ideal compromise for use in rough, sand, and fairway.

Oh, and it's Black "Nickel".

Maybe funny to tell ...... I learn't some English by spending time at forums, 10 years ago ..... I could order a beer, a whisky (or whiskey) and no/yes ..... well about that .....
