I have complained of this before, but today it happened again. I had my 12th rainout of the golf season, on a day I had set aside to go play golf. Same course and partner as 11th rainout.

Rainout #9 and #10 came in early August when my wife and I lost two of three days on our golf vacation. Because of the weather, we toured a winery and a tiger preserve. Wine and tigers were really great, but I was planning on golf.

I still have more rainouts than 18-hole scores. Maybe next year...

See that's why I moved from Chicago to St Petersburg 20 years ago.. This year so far 42 18 hole rounds at full size courses and 20 at par 3 courses.. Tiger you need a new range to hunt on.

It ain't bragging if you can do it.

Well RoadDog it rains a ton down here in Fl. The only nice thing is the rain only normally last for 30 mins to an hour. Rain starts, hit the clubhouse till rain stops hit the course and finish round.

      I love Rancho Park too!  I don't get out there much due to the 405 issues (Im in Santa Clarita) but I do try and get out there every now and then...last time out was in January where I eagled 17 (left green) with a holed 145 yard third shot ! Rancho is a great course! And at 24 bucks weekday with the city card, an absolute steal!

      I have played PGA West, at least one or two courses in there, but I am not sure if I've played any of the courses used to host the Hope. I played a course that I think both isn't PGA West and is host to the Hope a few years ago, possibly at a TST outing, but I'm not sure if I'm thinking of the right one. I have played Rancho Park plenty of times (exactly half of my sub-80 rounds were there!) and Wilson/Harding.  Rancho Park might be my favorite golf course among those I've played more than a half dozen times.   Hopefully I'll get a chance to play TPC Scottsdale, maybe this August or September, and at some point I think there was a PGA Tour event in Las Vegas, I should get up there and play those course(s).
