Go Go Gophers

Played a nice public course yesterday in Hampton, NH, Sagamore. I can honestly say we saw 20 different gophers on the course. Judge Smales would have had a sh*t fit. We didn't see any damage from said rodents, but it was a riot.

so with all the gophers, were you ever able to claim relief from the hole of a burrowing animal? has to be the least-used rule in the book (unless you're Sergio Garcia...i think he got a free drop from a nasty lie a few years ago due to this!)

Weird thing is we never saw any holes or damage. We did end up quoting Caddy Shack a lot.

Thread title took me back to my younger years watching that cartoon. Chief Running Board and Ruffled Feathers were a riot.

In my short stint of playing golf. I never did see any gophers but I did come across 2 holes while looking for an errant tee shot. I didn't find my ball but found 3 others the holes. The one was nasty and would easily have broken a leg if you weren't paying attention.
